In a number of previous blog posts we’ve stressed how proud we are of our system to prevent new users who are not childfree from creating profiles. Our team of actual humans have prevented thousands of users that range from both ends of the spectrum, from actually having kids (yikes), to ones that are just genuine fence sitters. However, like any system, it’s not perfect and it of course has its limitations. Recently though, we added another layer of security to the system to crowdsource the problem by allowing our entire community of childfree singles to report users who may not be childfree, and all it takes is one tap of your thumb on someone’s profile.
So how does it work?
Once you’re logged into CFdating.com, it is literally as simple as a one tap or click on the new “Report User” button which is found on every single profile across our community. Once you tap that button, you just select a reason for the report, and then add a quick description (if you’d like) to ensure we have any additional detail you’d like to add. From there, you hit send, and then it instantly hits our staff’s admin dashboard so we can review the report immediately and determine the appropriate next steps.

This is certainly a feature that should have been launched a long time ago, but we sincerely appreciate everyone that has utilized our general contact form to not only report users.
