I am career-focused (finance senior director in the biopharma field), but with an irreverent, silly side. I have a good sense of humor, and lean politically left/moderate but I am not overly involved in politics (aside from bemoaning the sad state of the national discourse). I enjoy reading, movies, music, dining out, cooking, crosswords, running, yoga, and skating. I'm honest, principled, introspective, sarcastic, sardonic, affectionate and reliable. I would love to meet a woman who I can know and understand, intimately; with whom I can share life's pleasures, while supporting each other as individuals.
Perhaps the most important question to CFdating's profile survey, below is steavis1's answer to why they choose to be childfree.
I never had an interest in being a parent. I don't have a strong need to have a "legacy", "pass on my genes", or to "have someone to care for me when I'm old". I also don't think I'd be a particularly good parent. I have preferred to devote my life to forming relationships with people who already exist.
Finally, would steavis1 have or want kids down the road? Below is how they answered this critical question.
