Below is Nossy's handwritten answer to the, "Tell us a little bit about you", survey question.
Hey, Nossy here. I'm from Eswatini and a Christian more on the protestant side (definitely not the conservative or fundamentalist kind). I just love Jesus okay. I feel like he was another childfree person even though many Christians would never admit it. I love singing(currently in the church choir). I write songs which I'm hoping one day I'll release and definitely that will get me travelling a lot. I also love reading and sewing clothes. I have a degree in Forensic Sciences. Cooking is not my strong point, I'll have to be honest with this one but would love having a partner who cooks. I've never dated because most guys I've met just wants kids. So I'm glad I came across this site, hopefully I'll meet my special someone who shares the same views. One thing about me, I love wearing skirts not unless there's an activity that really needs me to wear pants. I'm not into cosmetics(simply prefers my natural skin). I love listening to music, if it's not Christian music, its the golden oldies like the 80s and 90s hits. I play a lot of games if I find a good one and sometimes watch stuff from YouTube or just movies and series. I'm currently trying to learn spanish in my free time. I have interest in art, some dancing and wish to try out ice skating one day. I would also love to learn the piano. I'm open to hearing from you, if you interested in getting to know more, clyvertmavicks@gmail.com
Perhaps the most important question to CFdating's profile survey, below is Nossy's answer to why they choose to be childfree.
Seriously, I have typed a 50 pages long document, stipulating all the reasons why I don't want to have kids. Maybe once you get to know me, I'll get to share it with you. And by the way, with being a Christian, I even have tones of scriptures that show why having kids is just not a must. My favourites being Eccleasiastes 4:3, Luke 23:29( please do check them out). Basically, having children has never been my desire. I've known since I was around 9 years old. I just have a lot of dreams, and kids are not part of them and will definitely hinder me.
Finally, would Nossy have or want kids down the road? Below is how they answered this critical question.
No. It's a big no. I believe you must have a child because you want to or you have the desire. Helping raise my little brother showed me parenthood is not the path I wanna take.
